An improved method of stereotactic calculations for use with CRW-FN stereotactic apparatus (Radionics Inc., USA) has been worked out on the basis of experimental and clinical studies. It consists in consecutive obtaining of tomographic landmarks from a localizer and a target point proper. Automatic processing of data allows to receive three-dimensional coordinates of a target point.
This method excludes the necessity of making drawings with a tomograph console or a computer mouse. Thus, it improves precision of calculations and accelerates this stage of an operation (3-4 times).
